This feels like a BIG (but exciting) moment - so a deep breath from us…
The next chapter & some exciting news from Melt… 🌿
After 27 years, the candle business we've nurtured & loved is moving into the safe hands of its new owners, Amy & Ted.
We're delighted that it's going forward with friends of Melt &, just as importantly, friends of ours — & here's a lovely coincidence: they're the same age Trevor & I were when we started this adventure all those years ago! ❤️
Most importantly, our small team are protected - they are such a vital part of what comes next - & two NEW jobs have already been created! 😄
Meanwhile, here at Backridge Farm, our beautiful shop is staying under our ownership & care — & we'd love you to continue to keep us company, as you have over the years. 🤗
So, to help keep you up to date, if you're here for the candles, fragrance & online offers, you'll continue to find them on this page. But we're also giving our shop a Facebook home of her own, where we'll share all the things that make a visit to Melt so magical.
Beautiful things. Lovely discoveries. And Melt candles (of course! 😃)
The changing seasons. The nature outside our doors. The views. The welcome, the w**e & all those little things that make a visit to us feel different, relaxed & special.
And we’ll still be here, doing what we love most!
