Sometimes, when you work in the same industry, you might think you’d naturally be competitors rather than friends. But I’ve always believed there’s room for everyone — especially when you can appreciate each other’s creativity, support one another and share a genuine friendship.
Sylvia and I met when I moved my business into The Springboard Business Centre Ltd, We both create beautiful things for couples, just in very different ways — Sylvia through her gorgeous artificial florals and styling with The Rustic Corner and me through fresh flowers.
Somehow, along the way, what started through work has turned into a really lovely friendship. 🥰
So when Sylvia recently had HER own special day at Beumanor Hall, I was absolutely delighted to be invited and to be part of it in a small way.
Sylvia chose to keep things simple and elegant, with single fresh roses for her bridesmaids — and I had the pleasure of supplying them.
I’m grateful that our businesses brought us together, but even more grateful that they brought me a lovely friend.
