We are delighted to be welcoming a selection of NWLeicestershire Litter Wombles as we celebrate and thank them with a gift and refreshment vouchers for the incredible work they do keeping our district clean, tidy, and looking its very best. Their dedication makes a real difference to our communities, and today is all about recognising their efforts. 💚♻️

North West Leicestershire District Council are proud to be hosting a special event to celebrate and thank our amazing volunteer litter pickers for their continued dedication to keeping our district clean, safe and welcoming. Their efforts make a real difference, helping to create places we can all be proud of. This event is our way of recognising and celebrating their fantastic contribution to our communities.
Alongside the celebrations, we'll be hosting an exciting Indoor Upcycling and Recycling Market, showcasing creative products made from reused and recycled materials. It's a fantastic opportunity for local businesses, crafters and hobbyists to connect with the community, promote sustainable living and inspire others with their creativity.

♻️ Indoor market featuring recycled and upcycled products
🛒 Browse Newmarket’s permanent traders including, Foss Records, Tiger Moon, The House of Cocoa, Kool Guys and The Handmade Brownie Company – 9am to 4pm
☕ A special celebration of our dedicated volunteers
🎨 Free indoor crafts and activities for children
🦺 Find out how to become a volunteer and collect litter-picking equipment and bags
🎯 Fun outdoor games free for children, including Litter Bingo with prizes to be won, (weather permitting)
