Right now, in Britain today, there are children and young people who feel scared, unloved and unable to cope. Feeling alone in the world, these are the children and young people we work with. We help make small changes that make a big difference. There are no simple answers - often it is complex - so we work with others to help tackle these problems. Only together can we make a difference, not just to individual lives but to the lives of millions of children both now and in the future. Because no child should feel alone.

Celebrating 5 years of volunteering 🎉🎉 This week we have thanked shop volunteers Richard and Jane, who have given 5 years of service in our Cockermouth Shop. 🧡

Richard, a book worm, enjoys keeping an eye on our book shelves and serving our customers on a Tuesday morning. Jane, who volunteers on a Sunday and Monday afternoon works hard within our stockroom helping us to sort and prepare donated items for sale.

Richard and Jane are 2 of a 21 strong volunteer team who support us in the day to day running of a busy charity shop. Joe and Gail. 🥰
