IT’S FINALLY HAPPENING! 🥳

It’s been a long time coming, but Colchester’s largest online sweet shop finally has a physical shop!

We open Saturday 19 September at 10am 🎉

You can pop in and grab your sweets at any point during our opening hours. Have a look online before you come to check we have what you want!

You can also order online, pick a collection time and we’ll have it ready when you arrive. Nice and easy.

We’re in a central location with easy access and parking directly outside. If our space is taken, don’t panic, there are more spaces available.

Paying is easy too, with cash, card, contactless and online payments all accepted.

There’s also a QR code beside each product. Scan the code and it literally adds the item straight to your basket. Then just check out!

It’s so simple, your nan could do it 🤣

🍬 A LITTLE PLANET PICK N MIX UPDATE… 🍬

We wanted to take a moment to let you know what’s been going on behind the scenes and, more importantly, what’s coming next! 👀

We’ve recently moved into a new and much better unit at Hills Self Storage, where Planet Pick n Mix has been based for some time now. We didn’t expect getting everything moved, organised and ready to take quite as long as it has, and we’ve had a few other priorities to deal with along the way , but we’re getting there! 💙

So, what’s coming?

🚗 Local pickup & delivery is returning very soon

🏪 Our new location will be opening for in-store shopping

🍭 Loads of new products we haven’t stocked before, alongside brand-new Planet Pick n Mix sweet mixes

💎 More choice with our custom Pick n Mix
We’ll be introducing different pricing options based on the sweets actually going into your mix, including a Premium Pick n Mix featuring some of the more expensive/premium sweets.

📱 MORE LIVES!
We’re hoping to start going live across multiple platforms, rather than focusing on just one, so wherever you follow us you’ll have a chance to join in!

☀️IMPORTANT DELIVERY UPDATE☀️

Due to the current hot weather, Planet Pick N Mix will be temporarily pausing the dispatch of all orders until Monday 17th August.

We’ve made this decision to ensure your sweets arrive in the best possible condition. High temperatures can affect the consistency and texture of certain sweets, while chocolate products can unfortunately melt during transit. 🍫

Rather than risk your order arriving in a condition that doesn’t meet our usual standards, we’ve decided it’s best to temporarily hold all dispatches until the weather cools down.

📦 Orders will resume dispatching from Monday 17th August.

We really appreciate your patience and understanding, and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

🍬 A QUICK UPDATE FROM PLANET PICK N MIX 🍬

We’ve been busy this week getting everything organised behind the scenes, so here’s a quick update!

Our website is now fully operational again, and from next week we’ll be restarting our local delivery and collection service. 🚗

We’re also working towards introducing set opening hours for in-store shopping, giving customers the opportunity to visit us in person and browse our range. 🏪🍭

We’ll share more details, including opening hours, as soon as everything is ready.

We’ve received quite a few messages lately asking if we’ll be opening a local “sweet shed” and we wanted to explain why we’ve decided not to go down that route.

While we completely understand why they’ve become popular, for us it always comes back to one thing… quality ❤️

During warmer weather especially, sheds can get incredibly hot throughout the day and stay warm overnight too. We want to make sure our sweets are always stored properly in a cool, dry environment so they stay as fresh and enjoyable as possible 🍬✨

Instead, we’ve chosen to focus on a proper online ordering & pickup system that keeps things simple, cleaner and much more convenient for everybody 👀
