Hi hope you are all ok
I want to share this and ask if you could sign and share my petition please.

At the age of 13 my cousin sexually abused me. I didn’t tell a soul because he told me I would get in trouble. I wasn’t savy or streetwise, far from it I was a girl guide a church choir girl and pretty introverted.
Fast forward 34 years and I couldn’t keep it in any more. I disclosed to my closest friend, my husband and then my parents and then I went to the police.
This started a 5 year process of investigating and applying to the CPS for justice but every appeal was met with “ no harm to the public interest” because he had no other convictions.
As a survivor of this trauma I feel it’s time for us to stand up and make a movement to have the CPS support the victims and not the abusers.
I have started a petition to bring this issue to the higher powers that victims / survivors deserve better from the justice system.
So if you can please sign my petition and share so survivors can finally get justice and work towards peace. Thank you xx

This morning me and lenny and lots of other members from our slimming world group took part in a sunrise dip to raise money for one of our beautiful members Nicola Jane
Her story is below and there’s still time to sponsor me and lenny ( who managed a toe dip as he got a bit overwhelmed with the amount of people. My cozzie is wet I promise this was taken at the end lol

I would love to help get our Nicola further to her target because without women like her, beautiful caring nurses me and my babies might not even be here today 🥰
so I’m trying to raise funds to help a very special lady get the life changing treatment she deserves, unfortunately it’s not available in the uk but she has found a practice in Mexico that can administer the treatments, only thing is …… it costs £46000 😳😳🙈
I’m doing a sunrise swim ( I hate the sea, I hate being wet and I detest being cold) but it’s worth it to get Nicola Jane this treatment. Please if you can donate or share I would be so thankful.

Hi my lovely friends
I am ( big shiver🥶) taking part in a sunrise dip/ swim on the 3rd September to raise funds to help a lovely lady get the life changing treatment she desperately needs. Nicola used to be a nurse and has spent her life healing and caring for others, I hope we can repay her care and kindness by raising as much as we can 🥰
Now I hate being cold, getting wet especially my hair, swimming in the sea and the prospect of a wet suit is iffy 😂😂😂
So if you can (and would like to point and laught while I do this) donate, share and spread the word
