⏰ JUST 30 DAYS LEFT TO HAVE YOUR SAY! 🎆
There are now just 30 days until the Government’s national fireworks consultation closes at 11:59pm on 7 October.
And this isn’t just about the firework industry.
Firework companies, organised clubs, display teams, families, enthusiasts and firework lovers across the country are getting behind this. 🎆
From the people whose livelihoods depend on the industry, to the families who make fireworks part of their annual traditions, and the many organised clubs and community events that bring thousands of people together every year — there is a huge community that wants to see the future of fireworks protected.
Some of the proposals could significantly change the fireworks available for the public to buy:
❗ Reduce the noise limit from 120dB to 110dB
❗ Question 3 could remove fireworks with more than one shot tube from public sale — including cakes, barrages and compounds
Nothing has been decided yet, and Bonfire Night this year is unaffected. But if you want fireworks to remain part of our celebrations and traditions for generations to come, now is the time to make your voice heard.
