Direct Meats was formed in early 1995 by directors Martin Blackwell and John Kent. Their agenda was to fulfil the demanding needs of a progressive catering profession, by providing a specialist-catering butcher, offering an extensive quality product range, coupled with a high standard of service. The first objective was to create a modern purpose-bulit plant, which would meet all hygiene requireme

nts and be fully UK registered. The next task was to source the best products available, it took quite some time! But we are proud to say that we now deal with some of the finest companies in Europe. Corn Fed chickens, guinea fowl, etc direct from France & Charcuterie directly from Italy. We are commited to sourcing local produce wherever possible and have built up an excellent relationship with local farmers and producers throughout Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex providing you with full traceabilty.
