This is a beautiful handturned pen I made from a stave from a whiskey barrel from the Ben Nevis distillery is Scotland.

I just wanted to say a huge thankyou too Victoria MacDonald who very kindly sent me this bottle to use in my pictures to display the pen next too

Just a test to see if it was actually possible I have engraved a picture on to a scrap piece of wood and this is the result.
