Had someone email us to ask how to create an account on the website, we thought it might be a good idea to share the answer here too.

It works like this the first time:

1. When you checkout, you’ll be required to create your account, unless an item can go in an parcel and be posted immediately (if that’s the case, skip to #6), you’ll be presented with an “ask us for a quote” button.
2. When we get your quote request, we’ll email you to let you know that we received the request.
3. Our back office then go away and get the best shipping quote we can.
4. We update the order with the shipping details with both the shipper and the price, then send you an email to let you know that your order is ready to be shipped. That email has a button with a link to your account page on the site.
5. Click the link, log into the site and click on it the pay now button.
6. Enter your card details, and pay.
7. We’ll send out your order and update the record in the site with the tracking code and send you an email with the same.

Next time you order, the process is the same apart from the account creation bit.
