For Easter 2026 we've chosen to give the hardworking guys and girls a well deserved long weekend off after a busy few months. Therefore, our 2026 Easter Weekend Opening Hours are as follows:

Good Friday 3rd April: CLOSED
Saturday 4th April: CLOSED
Easter Sunday 5th April: CLOSED
Easter Monday 6th April: CLOSED

In Coleford on Easter Monday the town holds a large transport festival which is free to enter - you can see more here:

𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬:

𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 closes at 3pm on Saturday 20th December and reopens on Friday 9th January 2026.

𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 closes at 3pm on Monday 22nd December and will reopen on Friday 2nd January.

𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 closes at 2pm on Monday 22nd December. It will then reopen in a limited capacity on 29th & 30th December, before closing for New Year and reopening fully on Friday 2nd January.

We're at the Exeter Garden Railway show today. Please don't travel to the shop, we're not there...!

Our shop is CLOSED this Saturday as we attend the local show. Not as a trader though - a much better retailer in the shape of Hereford Model Centre are heading up the sales of new locos/rolling stock - we're doing the catering...!

Anyway, instead of coming to see us, go here instead. 25+ layouts and traders will be on hand to tempt and assist you.

We're at the Llangollen Garden Railway Festival today, therefore our shop, telephone lines and mail order despatch is closed! Please don't travel to see us in Coleford as we're not there.

Now, time to start putting the stock out.... 😀
