👀 CHEEKY LITTLE FIND!

We spotted these on our latest Schumacher order and thought… yep, we're having some of those!

These are the Montech Foam Bumper Strips — a simple little bit of kit that could save your body shell from a nasty encounter with the barriers.

They help fill the gap between your body shell and bumper, giving the shell a little more support and helping prevent the bumper or body flexing into things it really shouldn't. 😬

Because we all know what happens when that perfectly painted race shell meets the barrier at speed…

💥 CRUNCH.

And suddenly that beautiful paint job isn't looking quite so beautiful.

For the cost of a few bits of foam, these could be a very worthwhile bit of protection — especially for those expensive race bodies you really don't want to destroy!

Okay, technically this arrived yesterday… but between building a track and racing at FOD Club, we completely forgot to shout about it! 🤦🏻‍♂️😂

We had a couple of our own drivers out at Forest of Dean RC Club last night, putting two very different Fenix cars through their paces.

🇬🇧 Alex was out with his Fenix Club Racer F1, while Radders was behind the wheel of his Fenix G42 Frontie.

A solid day at the office for the Clear View RC team at the BRCA 10th Electric Circuit Nationals at West London! 🏁

Ben qualified for the Frontie B Final and came home 4th overall, improving from a 5th in Leg 1 to a 4th in Leg 2. A strong finish against a competitive field. 💪

Radders lined up in the F1 A Final and finished 5th overall, mixing it with some of the quickest F1 drivers in the country. With finishes of 4th and 7th, consistency was the key to securing a top-five result. 👌

A great day of racing, plenty of close battles, and lots learned ready for the next round. Huge thanks to everyone at West London Racing Centre, the BRCA officials, and all the competitors for another brilliantly run National.

Now it's time to clean the cars, restock the pit box... and start thinking about the next one! 😎

☀️ Race day is here!

We're trackside at West London for today's BRCA 10th Electric Circuit Nationals!

🔹 Ben is flying the flag in Frontie with his Schumacher FT9, lining up in Heat 1.

🔹 Radders is in Heat 3 of F1, piloting the Fenix Mistral 3.5 Team.

They're also joined by Tony Wade, who's running a Fenix Mistral 3.5 Team of his own... although his seems to have acquired a few interesting additions... 👀 We might have to take a closer look later!

The weather's looking perfect, the track is prepped, and the cars are ready. Time to see what we can do.

There's nothing wrong with losing your virginity... 😏
..especially when it's your ball diff.

A last-minute "oh no... that's the wrong spur gear!" moment meant the diff had to come apart again. Not exactly what you want when you think the car's ready to hit the track, but these things happen!

On the plus side, it gave us another excuse to break out the Fenix Virgin Syrup.

We've been using it for a while now, and it's become our go-to ball diff grease. It gives a silky smooth feel, excellent consistency and helps keep the diff performing lap after lap. Once you've tried it, it's hard to go back.

So if your balls are feeling a little dry, or your diff just isn't as smooth as it used to be... maybe it's time they lost their virginity too. 😉
