Hi Funky Folk!
We are currently sending out confirmation of stalls for the August 30th The Faddle Fair
We only have 25 stalls to fill, which is very tricky when there are so many creatives wanting slots.
Please realise that if you are not selected, it is not because you aren't good enough.
It is purely down to what stalls fit, compliment each other, don't sell the same sort of stock as another trader on the day who is available.
We are a committee of five women who all have real jobs and kids.
We fit all the work that goes into creating our markets around our spare time.
We are unpaid. And funded for the first few markets by Coleford Town Council . Without them the markets wouldn't have started again!
We really want them to continue past Aug 30th so everyone needs to support where they can. PLEASE!
We are all in it for the love of the creative community in the Forest. Whilst also all being very passionate about regeneration of High Street.
It's impossible to please everyone. But bare with us. We want to grow these markets next year so there will be more room for more traders.
That being said, there are certain genres of creators that there are a huge volume of. Making it tricky to please all.
