Its Friday! And we want to take a moment to wish two of our store members, Daniel and Craig, the best of luck as they take part in the Warhammer Open in Birmingham this weekend.

The guys have been training hard the last couple of months and we know they’re going to absolutely smash it.

We’re only slightly jealous we’re not at U.K. Games Expo this year 😄

Go get ‘em lads….and maybe see if you can get those props into your carry-on on the way home…

For everyone who is hoping to stop by the store this incoming Friday evening, just a heads up to plan your parking accordingly as there will be a sizeable parade in town.

We'll be open as normal but do plan your trip accordingly and we'll see you all then!

Road users and members of the public are advised of traffic disruption and congestion in Coleraine on Friday evening, 29th May due to a large band parade.

Some roads in and around the town centre will be temporarily closed with traffic diversions in place between 8pm and 11pm. Emergency services vehicles will be accommodated during this time.

The parade will assemble at approximately 7pm at the Station carpark, Railway Place.

It will then proceed via Railway Road, Kingsgate Street, Long Commons, Newmarket Street, New Row, Church Street, The Diamond, Bridge Street, Old Bridge, Strand Road, Slip Road, Killowen Street, Waterside, Old Bridge, Circular Road, Millburn Road, Union Street, Station Gates and Ballycastle Road.

Officers will be present to manage traffic and public safety during this time – with proceedings due to conclude at around 11pm.

To avoid potential delays, please allow extra time for your journey and seek an alternative route where possible.

Chaos Rising has arrived!

We’ve managed to get our hands on some Chaos Rising stock but it’s very limited.

Our last Magic prerelease sold out. So this time, we’re doing something new.

After the response to our Strixhaven prerelease, we know one event probably won’t be enough for the upcoming Magic: The Gathering | Marvel prerelease at Misfit Hobbies.

So for the first time, we’re running two prerelease events.

Join us in-store and be among the first to crack packs, build your sealed deck, and play with the brand-new Marvel set before release.

Event One: Friday 19th June at 6pm
Event Two: Saturday 20th June at 12pm

Prereleases are some of the best ways to enjoy Magic. You don’t need to know the new cards in advance, you don’t need a finely tuned deck, and you don’t need to be a competitive player. You just turn up, open your prerelease kit, build from what you pull, and play some games.

Whether you’re a regular player, a returning fan, or you just want to see what happens when Magic meets Marvel, this is the event to be at.

Spaces are limited, and after Strixhaven sold out, we’d strongly recommend booking early.

Good afternoon, sports fans, and do we have news for you.

After the thunderous success, questionable coaching decisions, and only moderate structural damage caused by our Blood Bowl Weekender, we’re proud to announce the launch of the Misfit Hobbies Summer Skirmish Cup, a three-month Blood Bowl league kicking off this June.

Coaches will battle their way up the leaderboard, chasing glory, bragging rights, and the chance to lift the trophy at the end of the season.

Assuming, of course, they’ve still got hands by then.

So, whether you’re a seasoned tactician or a reckless optimist, now’s the time to get your team ready.

Thanks for another great Saturday everyone! I’ve had my head down painting all day with our Blood Bowl weekender attendees and we’ve been packed all day with folks playing board games like Sniper Elite and Magical Athlete.

It was another full Friday evening last night with plenty of games on the to and also the start of our Blood Bowl Weekender.

We’ll be continuing our Blood Bowl Weekender today where our team captains will be getting their teams painted and running through some demo games.

But we’re equally open today from 10am and will have plenty of tables free for you to stop by and try out some board games.

Today is turning out to be a lovely day… long may it last! ☀️

We’ve had a tasty little restock of TTRPG goodies, including my favourite: Call of Cthulhu. (It’s Ben here FYI). Perfect for anyone who enjoys eldritch horror, suspicious fog, and making questionable decisions in old libraries.

We’ve also restocked Magic: The Gathering playmats and deck boxes, so your cards can travel in style instead of rattling about like goblins in a biscuit tin.
