We are delighted to announce that we are now stocking delicious pork from our neighbour Emma aka Pendle Pig Lady at New House Farm, Colne.

Emma specialises in breeding rare-breed pigs, and having seen their operation first-hand, we can confidently say their animals receive first-class, high-welfare care.

The pigs are also fed a carefully chosen diet that is soya-free and palm-oil-free—something we know matters to many of our customers.

By buying this pork, you’re not only getting fantastic local produce, you’re also supporting a neighbouring family farm committed to traditional rare breeds, excellent animal welfare, and more thoughtful feeding practices.

Pop into the shop to try it for yourself—we’re sure you’ll taste the difference.

We forgot to introduce you to our latest calf 😍

‘Baby Girl’ our British Blue Cross, gave birth to this beautiful little heifer calf 💙🩶 by our own Shorthorn Bull.

She’s yet to be named so let us know if you can think of any good names, the cuter the better 🩶
