Do you like your miniatures painted to a high-standard? Are you a discerning collector with excellent taste?

Well good news!

It doesn’t happen often, but we have a cancellation for the last week in March.
Usually we’d offer this to our many “regulars” and it would get snapped-up, but just for once I’d like to try something different…

Consequently if you’d like something painting pretty by us and you are a new customer, then this might be the opportunity for you.

This is the last available slot we have until the summer and will be enough to paint a squad / gang / unit / team of up to twelve miniatures to our highest studio standard. Or perhaps 2-4 hero miniatures? Or a vehicle / monster?

So it’s taken us a fair-few years, but here at Studio Bucky we have come to embrace our neurodivergence. Whether it’s autism, ADHD or something else; being different and thinking different is a rare gift that shouldn’t be squandered.

Our hobby is an integral part of this and I’ve come to accept that I’m always going to start more personal projects than I finish.

Because of this I’ve stopped viewing these partially-completed works as a negative or a failure.
Instead I see every minute of work I’ve put into a project now as a gift to my future self. This is especially true when I stumble across a project that I’d completely forgotten about, only to find something that’s had hours of painstaking love poured into it that lights-up my happy brain like a Christmas tree.

Today I found these undead ogres that I’ve put a lot of hours of sculpting into and I couldn’t be happier with my “gift”!

And today we finished some Mandalorians. This is the way.

After an extended break thanks to some cataracts; I’m pleased to say that I will be taking commissions again from next week - slots will be available for November & December, so please drop me a message for a quote if you’d like something painted pretty.
Slots do tend to go fast though, so if you don’t manage to get one this time please be patient as I’ll be opening up 2024 slots soon.

Just a little update to say I am still alive! Just waiting for cataract surgery so I can paint again and I’ll be back taking commission slots.
Surgery is on the 15th August for the first eye so thankfully not long to go now.
