All set up and ready to ship to Texas. Our Fong 62 Retrocaster has handwound pickups to our specs and amazingly dynamic Alnico 3 broadcaster spec bridge and an Alnico 4 Retrocaster neck pickup created from our specs that are perfectly voiced for the Fong Retrocaster (ask a Viking) - Tore Knutsen. With vintage spec cloth wire and pio capacitor. CTS pots, Switchcraft 3 way switch and a 60s jack cup 22 fret D shaped rosewood neck with 6150 medium jumbo frets, body is finished in Fong Olympus White in very thin Poly. Action is 1.2mm high E 12th fret. 1.6mm low E 12th fret. In a word. Masterbuilt. World Class.

The greatest guitar we've ever built. The Fong 'The Squire' all Nitrocellulose, Rutters bridge, bespoke pickup, four way switch, vintage spec body, based on a '66 Telecaster. One happy customer got their dream guitar today! It's a great day!

Clay dots in the neck

Pickup is Broadcaster-style. Alnico 3 magnets, wound to 10k with AWG43 wire, so similar to around 8k with standard AWG42 wire

Alder body. 62-style (Slab board). Flame maple, Yucatan rosewood fretboard

Vintage specs on the neck. 7 1/4" radius, vintage style frets. Early 60s back profile. Custom bone nut. 64-68 repro tuners.

Custom neck plate and number, same font as original and done on a machine from the old Fender factory
