Excellent Thursday morning in Chester where I collected a number of important items for our Model Railway. Big thanks to Paul for his help at The Chester Model Centre.

Relayed a significant amount of track on our Model railway and the effect on the Trains' performance was very significant. Did replace one of our old Transformers which also made a difference.

Sold another copy of 'Secret Colwyn Bay' which brought our current stock down to one and will have to re-order this volume once again.

Good to sell a Style Council album which has been with us for some time. Bought twenty album sleeves in Chester's HMV for our more valuable albums and a copy of the 'Dirty Dancing' Vinyl Album which Carl requested.

Good to see the parking outside All Our Yesterdays was of a high standard this Thursday, hope this trend continues, Saturday may require the return of our 'Angular Parking Device' to prevent last week's abuse of our parking bay.
There has been a significant increase in visitors to All Our Yesterdays this week and this strangely coincides with our purge on horizontal vehicle parkers.

Speak again soon.

Good to see yet another copy of 'Colwyn Bay In The 1950s' leave us again this Wednesday. We have now sold out of this particular title but will be re-ordering this week.

All Our Yesterdays will be closed until 1pm this Thursday as Charles has to go to Chester to collect Model Railway track and carriages.
Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

Good to see our 'Good Parking Initiative' has worked well this week after the disgrace on Saturday. Strategic placing of Motor Vehicles seems to have worked a treat.

Speak again soon.

Good to see recorded media and books selling well at All Our Yesterdays this week.

Plenty of Vinyl singles being sold plus cds and audio cassettes.
We have also sold two of our Colwyn Bay books:
'Colwyn Bay Folk' and 'Colwyn Bay In The 1950s'.
Hamish was delighted to find a photograph of the Belvedere Hotel on East Parade where he had stayed as a child.
This Hotel and the properties on East Parade were demolished as part of the building of the A*5 Expressway through Colwyn Bay.

Acquired a very good copy of 'Bangor' by Bill Rear in the Foxline Series. This wonderful Railway book is now on sale and up for grabs.

All Our Yesterdays is pleased to link up with Greenfield Road Litter-Pickers.

Our litter-picking programme is very much part of our business plan. We believe tidy and clean streets, plus sensible parking availability are the keys to increasing trade in Colwyn Bay.

We have been down to the Colwyn Bay Slip Road on the A*5 Expressway this last week. Two litter picks along its entire length have made a terrific difference. Motorists can now enter The Bay on roads generally free of litter. These roads include Victoria Avenue and Upper Greenfield Road.

We have also removed a good deal of weeds and foliage which have adorned the slip-road and have cleared about 25% to date.
We have attached photos of the work undertaken, but further expeditions in this area are planned.

Completed our inventory of Battle, War and Commando Magazines which Gary brought in last Saturday. We have discovered a few rare issues within the collection.

We now have all our Liverpool FC Soccer programmes in our Champions and Cup Winners display. David's Liverpool FC programmes have been added to the collection.

If you are a 100% Man Utd, Liverpool, Man City, Everton or Wolves Supporter we have a great selection of Club memorabilia for you.

Worked on the Penmaenrhos Tunnel on our Model Railway today. We are now ready to cut the wood for the tunnel roof as we now have a cardboard template. Marrying together the whole area around Old Colwyn is very challenging but not impossible.

Barbara's Two-Tone vinyl singles left us today for a new home which was very good news. Good to see 'The Smiths' album on the wall in the Sounds Of The 80s Display. Always looking to freshen up our displays.

After almost ten years we have finally identified Megan on our photo of the Inland Revenue Staff located at The Grand Hotel, Llandudno in World War Two. Our larger photo helped Megan's son identify his mother on the picture and she had signed Charles's mum's leaving card from December 1945.
The picture was featured in Peter Johnson's 'Llandudno At Work' book but the book's photo was too small to make a positive identification.
All Our Yesterdays is always happy to help you with this type of information.

Good to have a new selection of Vinyl Albums this week. A number have already been sold and we are in the process of framing the Eagles Greatest Hits 1971-1975 Limited Edition Green Vinyl Album for display.

Gary brought in some sensational Beatles Memorabilia including a set of Beatles autographs from a dinner held at a Liverpool Hotel. The pack also included a signed card from Pete Best's band.
These items will complement John's promotional material for The Beatles Anthology Album and the Hard Day's Night and Help films.

Catalogued Gary's War and Battle Magazines this Thursday and will produce an inventory for his huge collection of Commando Magazines this Friday.

Another incredible week at All Our Yesterdays.
Good to see so many items, which have been with us a good while or in large numbers, heading out of the shop this week.

Saturday saw the sale of six songbooks, a Keith Moon Book and two Colwyn Bay to Llandudno Electric Railway photos.

Great to speak with Goalkeeping Coach Peter Williams this week. Peter gave us a most interesting insight into the Brian Clough era at Nottingham Forest FC. Peter was their Goalkeeping Coach at the time.

Considerable interest in our Manchester City Memorabilia, but sadly no sales this week.

Great to see our Manchester United Newspaper book leave us.
This had been with us for many months and came from Colwyn Bay's SCOPE store. They were pleased to receive a decent sum of money from its sale.

Having completed our World Cup 2026 Sticker Album I was pleased to share the good news with the staff at Morrisons Supermarket who sold us the stickers for our album. Delighted that so many youngsters, accompanied by their parents, have participated in our sticker-swop programme.

Our litter-picking campaign has been very successful and Greenfield Road in Colwyn Bay looks so much better. We believe a clean and tidy road, plus reasonable parking availability, will help
to boost trade. Having received a number of unsavoury comments about our town, All Our Yesterdays has run a concerted campaign to help refute such allegations.
We also appreciate the thanks received for our efforts to clean up our locality.

Speak again very soon.

We've done it!
The last World Cup 2026 sticker came in this Friday morning to complete our album.
Many thanks to Sharon from Blackpool who sent us the Romelu Lukaku sticker to complete the set.

I would like to thank all the youngsters and adults who have swopped stickers with us this Summer and enabled us to complete yet another World Cup album.

Great news on The War Magazine front.
Gary had brought in a huge collection of War, Battle and Commando Magazines a couple of weeks ago and they took a considerable length of time to collate.

This Thursday we sold 75 of the above magazines to two different customers which was absolutely brilliant.

Jim brought in his Model Railway locomotives to test on our Model Railway and in the main the testing was very successful. Only two of the seven locos failed to function properly.
Delighted to see our Tornado Pullman Express performing so well. Track adjustments have made such a difference to the Express's performance.

Sold our first ever Frank Zappa album today which was most encouraging, two more to go.

Had an excellent sticker swop this afternoon but we still require one sticker to complete our 2026 World Cup Album.

Considerable interest in our Joe Calzaghe DVD and Programme this Thursday. The signed programme is not for sale and the DVD is spoken for.

Sold another copy of Colwyn Bay History Tour today which means we have sold nine copies this August. There are still three more up for grabs.
