Interesting study in bike fitting this one !

It’s not only the rider but sometimes the bike that feels refreshed with a new lease of life after the bike fit.

In this case ,after a fit here @ Ciclo with on this older generation S Works Tarmac and various improvements for the rider on seat height , bar width , saddle position , new cleats etc etc .

Once the rider was happy ,then we looked at giving the S Works a little update .

New bars , gave the opportunity to remove the old stem mount di2 junction and upgrade to bar end junction , obviously with a cable tidy up and new hoods and bar tape .

An addition of a vt30 gel saddle also has added long term comfort to the new set up .

The rider is obviously the main focus in any bike fit but the bike should never be forgotten, so the combination of a great fitter and trusted mechanic to carry out the changes has to be the best combination !
