Gift shop and tearoom located in Combe Martin, North Devon. The Galleon Gift Shop has had a re-vamp for 2016 with a large variety of new gifts for sale.

We cater for everything from souvenirs to that perfect gift for that special occasion. Come in and have a browse and say hello to Jackie & Martyn. Very soon we will be opening the newly owned and operated Galleon Cafe (2nd March) followed shortly by Scallywags Restaurant (1st April). We have put a lot of effort into trying to create somewhere everyone can come to relax and unwind in a friendly env

ironment. Formerly 'The Galleon Tearooms' the business has been in the family for over a decade and we look forward to welcoming back many friendly faces from over the years and hopefully welcoming many new ones, 'Sometimes you like to go where everyone knows your name'. See you soon, Tom and Jen

GALLEON TEAROOM UPDATE...
MARTYN IS RETIRING
As many of you know, I have been trying to retire for the last four years, without much success. But now seems to be the right time to step down. After 18 years the work gets harder and I find that you slow down when you hit your forties.
So, with Jenny on maternity leave, we have decided to temporarily close the Tearooms. We will still be doing various days, events and evenings and as always The Galleon will be available for private bookings (details to follow).

A BIG THANK YOU!
To my staff, so many to thank. The good, the bad and the bloody brilliant (you know which one you are). You have all helped turn the Galleon into the place it is. I have some great memories, but my biggest shout out goes to the jokers and the singers. You can't beat a joke and a good singsong, especially this years anthem 'Valerie' including the bit about ginger hair. If anyone needs to hear the one about two Prawns, Sven and Bjorn, I'm here for you.
Biggest thank you goes to the two girls that have put up with me for the longest, Jenny and Irene, you are both stars.

To my customers, without you there would be no Tearoom. So thank you for giving us a chance and trying somewhere new. Your support has been brilliant, especially in the early days and the last two years of Covid. Your loyalty has been amazing. Many customers have become good friends.

Jackie will of course be in the shop as usual, so pop in and say Hi 👋

ITS GREAT TO BE BACK!!! Our first quiz in 2 year's. Lovely to have a full house. Congratulations to 'Fools on the hill' for being our 1st quiz winners of the year.
