Monday was a fantastic day at the Cosmetics Show in the RDS for the Comber Pharmacy team ✨

We had a brilliant day meeting new suppliers, discovering exciting new products, and getting plenty of inspiration for Christmas 2026 🎄 Busy from start to finish, but such a successful and worthwhile trip!

One of the highlights of the day was meeting Tommy Bowe 🙌

At Comber Pharmacy, every member of our team plays an important role in helping make the pharmacy what it is today ❤️ Although only 4 of the girls are in the photo, everyone in the shop is involved in choosing products, sharing ideas, and supporting one another.

We’re so grateful for the teamwork and friendship we have in store, and we’re excited for everything still to come ✨

Another brand new service at Comber Health+!

We’re delighted to welcome Revitalise Plus, a new wellness clinic run by Sarah a qualified nurse practitioner. She offers nurse consultations and blood screens in conjunction with Randox. She also offers IV vitamin drops on site.

I booked in as her first patient this morning and was impressed by how professionally she runs her service. Sarah explained all the options and I selected a full blood profile. She collected all the samples and Randox collected these same day so I’m looking forward to seeing the results tomorrow or Wednesday. If any vitamins are needed, Sarah can offer these by IV drip.

Yet another concerning story about two online suppliers MedExpress and Voy posting weight loss medication without adequate checks or following GPhC guidance designed to keep patients safe.

“BBC journalists were able to order so-called skinny jabs to Northern Ireland from Voy and MedExpress using false data and out-of-date images, with no further verification required.

Voy has said it has updated its online checks while MedExpress said enhanced checks will be in place by April.

Industry regulator the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), which investigated both firms, said it was "very concerned" at the findings.”

Two online pharmacies are bringing in enhanced measures after it was found they were selling weight-loss injections without proper safeguarding checks.
