We're located in the Ewloe countryside (Flintshire, North Wales, just 9 miles from Chester) and offer 2 carefully tended coarse fishing pools (Twin Oaks) heavily stocked with common carp, mirror carp and F1's (possibly introducing Ide in 2023). Our fishing lakes cater for anglers of all ages and abilities with 41 pegs (combined, including a wheelchair friendly peg) offering daily fishing for pleas

ure anglers with local/resident open matches, competitive match fishing and festivals held regularly throughout the year - match results are posted every few days on our website. Pleasure fishing is available 8am-6pm daily (Summer season April to end October - dawn till dusk for campers). We have toilets onsite and you can take advantage of our onsite bistro/coffee shop (Castle Cafe) for food and refreshments including alcohol to enjoy throughout the day or you may bring your own food and drink (please consume alcohol in moderation!)

Within Castle Cafe we have a small ancillary shop (with tackle, leading brands of bait and a small stock of branded clothing/outerwear). To preserve the excellent quality of our waters, you can use any pellets on the hook but all feed pellets and ground bait must be purchased onsite. Our fishery rules are displayed on boards around the fishery & detailed on our website. For any queries or advice on fishing our pools, please talk to us. The Stamford Way Campsite offers 28 pitches to accommodate touring caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents (sorry, we do not accommodate pitched tents). Each pitch offers electrical hook up and within short distance of all amenities and our 2 Twin Oaks fishing pools. Fishing is available to campers dawn till dusk with access to at least 1 pool at all times (unless otherwise stated). Campers can also take advantage of discounted rates for fishing at £6 per adult per day ticket (1 rod). You can book with us direct, just telephone the fishery to enquire about availability and pricing. You can also find us on Pitchup. Whether you're just here for the fishing, to fish and stay, or just here to camp, you'll receive a warm welcome and sure you will enjoy the excellent facilities and peaceful surroundings. Congratulations to former veterans world champion Harry Billing who becomes the 10th coarse angler through to this year's DragonMania final after winning today's qualifier at Stamford Way Fisheries and Camping.

Harry's 91lb 15oz of peg 19 gave him the edge on last year's overall runner-up Andy Amos (86lb 15oz off peg 25).

Well done Harry and to all who fished today 🎣👏
