We get asked this a lot, so here are a few things that really help…

Make sure you pick a material that can actually handle the weather — it sounds obvious, but it makes all the difference after a few months outside.

Keep the text clear and easy to read (especially once the plants start growing around it!).

And don’t forget how you’re fixing them in — a good solid stake and backing board, metal label holder or screw/tie fixings will save you from finding them blown across the garden 😅

Nothing complicated, just small things that help your labels last longer and still look good over time.
