Good evening from Dolgarrog! We’ve been quiet on social media for the last week, but in the real world, Cog has been super busy. We’ve got our lovely Rosemary Sharman exhibition of paintings in the gallery and some changes around the shop! New sellers, new work by old favourites, and lots of other things happening, including plans for our next exhibitions, some of which we may be asking you all about. So if you are an artist working in North Wales or making work about North Wales, we’d love to hear from you as your ideas may fit one of our forthcoming projects! So feel free to inbox us or contact us directly via the website.

And in the meantime, we’ll be open all week, at least 12-4.

Noswaith dda o Ddolgarrog! Rydyn ni wedi bod yn dawel ar y cyfryngau cymdeithasol dros yr wythnos ddiwethaf, ond yn y byd go iawn mae Cog wedi bod yn hynod o brysur. Mae arddangosfa hyfryd Rosemary Sharman o baentiadau yn yr oriel, ac mae rhai newidiadau ar y gweill yn y siop hefyd! Gwerthwyr newydd, gwaith newydd gan hen ffefrynnau, a digonedd o bethau eraill ar y gweill, gan gynnwys cynlluniau ar gyfer ein harddangosfeydd nesaf – ac efallai y byddwn yn gofyn i chi gyd am eich barn ar rai ohonynt. Felly, os ydych yn artist sy'n gweithio yng Ngogledd Cymru neu'n creu gwaith am Ogledd Cymru, byddem wrth ein bodd yn clywed gennych, gan y gallai eich syniadau fod yn addas ar gyfer un o'n prosiectau sydd ar ddod! Felly mae croeso i chi anfon neges breifat atom neu gysylltu'n uniongyrchol drwy'r wefan.

One of our Google reviews calls Cog the ‘ADHD crafter’s dream’, and we love that. Apparently, variety is the spice of life, and there’s a little bit of everything at Cog. We’ve got two gallery spaces, we host workshops and pop-up markets, and we always sell work that varies from hand-crafted goods to photographs and paintings, vintage furniture, and upcycled household items, plus all kinds of other things. And of course, we’re open every day 12-4. Hope to see you soon and enjoy your holidays. Welcome to Wales.

Lovely to see everyone at the launch of the new exhibition by Rosemary Sharman last Sunday, and the show continues throughout the summer holidays. We’re open 12-4, 7 days a week (sometimes a little longer at the weekend), and we’re in the heart of Dolgarrog, opposite the entrance to Adventure Parc.

Roedd hi'n hyfryd gweld pawb yn lansiad arddangosfa newydd Rosemary Sharman ddydd Sul diwethaf, ac mae'r arddangosfa'n parhau drwy gydol gwyliau'r haf. Anybody heading for the hills this weekend?

Whilst it’s felt like summer for ages, we still think in school holiday terms, which means summer has finally arrived. And if you’re holidaying around North Wales this summer, we’d love you to pay us a visit in Dolgarrog. We’re opposite the entrance to the Ixora Hotel, and we’re open 12-4 every day. See you soon!

We’ve been spoilt with great exhibitions this year and we’re sure you’re all going to love this latest exhibition. And I know we do

Hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend and whilst we’re sad to say goodbye to our Anne Brierley show, we’d now like to invite you to our next exhibition which is a collection of recent works by Rosemary Sharman!

It’s Friday and it’s the last weekend of our Anne Brierley exhibition ‘A Sense of Place’! And as an added bonus for our last day on Sunday, Anne will be coming along for a very
informal goodbye to a beautiful exhibition. So come and say hello or goodbye, ask a question or two, buy something from the exhibition and take it home the same day or just catch the show
on its very last weekend and find out what’s coming next to Cog Dolgarrog!
