What’s On This Month At The Bookshop!!

We have got lots planned this month. Starting with our Hearth Space this Thursday. On Saturday we have Matt Brighton (children’s author) who has many books including those that are perfect for children with dyslexia. He will be doing a storytelling session at 12pm and 1pm. You will also be able to buy his books.

Our evening pastime parlour session is back plus we have some tables allocated to our new crochet club. This month Toni will teach you how to crochet amigurumi style mushrooms.

At your request our Writers Circle is back this month. Prompts are the theme for August.

We’ve switched out poetry night for an acoustic night. If you fancy your chance to be front and centre drop us a message.

At the end of the month we have Bethany Philip joining us in shop with her debut thriller Grey Area.

Hearth Space - This Thursday evening (13th August) at 7pm.

Hearth Space at The Quill & Quiver brings space for reflection, connection and ritual. For August the group will follow guided meditation, oracle cards and enjoy ceremonial cacao. Tea and cake included with ticket. Spaces limited to maintain relaxing environment.

Join us on Saturday 15th August as we welcome the wonderful Matt Beighton for a day of storytelling, imagination and interactive adventures.

Matt will be with us from 10am - 2pm. Come and get your signed copies. He will also be doing live readings. See times below.

🛡 12pm – Monstacademy: The Magic Knight (perfect for ages 4–8)
🗿 1pm – The Desolate Tomb (recommended for ages 9+)
