OUR 1ST BIRTHDAY WEEKEND IS HERE!

Yesterday Corby Aquatics officially turned ONE YEAR OLD!

Firstly, we want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everybody for all the amazing birthday wishes, lovely comments and messages yesterday. We were genuinely blown away by how many people took the time to wish us a happy birthday.

CORBY AQUATICS IS 1 YEAR OLD TODAY!

WE ACTUALLY MADE IT!

When we opened our doors a year ago, we honestly had no idea what we were letting ourselves in for!

Fast forward 12 months and somehow we’ve gone from “let’s give this a go” to more fish, more shrimp, more tanks, more plants, more deliveries… and considerably less space!

We’ve learnt SO much along the way.

Some things we got right.
Some things we got completely wrong.
Some things we thought would be brilliant… and they really weren’t!

The best part of the last year has been the people we’ve met along the way. We’ve made some brilliant friends, met some fantastic customers and had some great conversations — usually involving fish, shrimp, aquariums and the occasional “I definitely don’t need another tank…”

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us, whether you’ve spent £5 or £500, popped in for a look, shared a post, recommended us to a friend or just come in for a chat.

YOU have helped make Corby Aquatics what it is today.

We’ve got loads of ideas for year 2 .

More things for YOU guys.

We know we can’t do everything overnight and unfortunately we haven’t discovered how to add another 500 tanks yet!

Everything takes time, but we’re enjoying the journey and we’re only just getting started.
