I’ve finally got all my seedlings in the raised beds. I can’t wait to see what I harvest as I’ve planted loads. If you are a 2027/2028 bride and you want dried flowers with no air miles and no chemicals then let’s chat. What’s really exciting is if we decide on the flowers soon then I can add those to my growing plan for next year. DM me to start chatting.

I absolutely love working with all my couples but Laura and Toby literally reduced me to tears on Saturday and again last night with this incredible review.

I work hard to absolutely create the vision we have talked about during meetings and exchanges of texts during the lead up to the day.

The more time I spend getting to know my couples, the more I uncover the little details, emotions, and unspoken wishes that shape a design that feels deeply personal to them.

By doing this we build a relationship that on the day means I’m more than the florist and can easily help out with a quick dog walk!

If you need dried florals for your wedding that really express you as a couple and how you want your wedding to feel please DM me for an initial chat.

Chelsea Flower Show reminded me why I do this.

For years, I’ve believed that sustainable florals deserve a place within luxury spaces — not as an alternative, but as something beautiful in their own right.

Seeing people stop, engage with, and feel immersed in my installation for stand felt incredibly special.

Because flowers are never just decoration.

They shape the atmosphere of a space.

They influence how people feel within it.

They become part of the memories people carry away.

That is what I want every wedding, event, and installation I create to feel like.

Thoughtful.
Emotive.
Immersive.
And beautifully connected to nature.

Chelsea gave me even more belief in the future of sustainable floral design — and I’m so excited for what comes next

Most florals are designed for a moment.
I design for the entire experience.
This Earth Day, I find myself thinking less about trends—and more about standards.
Because when you’re planning at a high level, it’s not just about how something looks in a photograph…
It’s about how it performs across the day.
The reality?
Fresh florals can dictate timelines.
They wilt under pressure.
They’re installed last minute… and removed just as quickly.
And for planners managing complex, multi-layered events—that’s one more moving part.
This is where my work is different.
I create dried floral installations that are:
— Installed well in advance, with no compromise on freshness
— Designed to be moved and reimagined throughout the day (ceremony to reception, seamlessly)
— Structurally reliable, even in challenging environments
— Completely foam-free, without sacrificing scale or impact
But more than that…
They allow you to design without limitation.
No seasonality constraints.
No fragility.
No waste at the end of it all.
Just a considered, elevated approach to florals that works with your vision—not against it.
Because true luxury isn’t just how something looks.
It’s how effortlessly it comes together behind the scenes.

Hello, I’m Catherine — the hands behind Dorset Dried Flowers.

I create bespoke dried floral arrangements and large-scale installations for countryside weddings and events, designed to feel as though they’ve always belonged in the space.

My world is rooted in the Dorset countryside — I’m married to a farmer, a mum, a grandmother, and happiest at home or out foraging for natural textures and inspiration. Before this, I trained as a nurse, which is where my love of truly understanding people began… something that now sits at the heart of how I design.

When you work with me, it’s never just about choosing flowers. It’s about creating something that reflects you — often from ideas you didn’t even realise you had yet.

I’m especially known for my larger installations — arches, chandeliers, pieces that quietly transform a space without overwhelming it — always with sustainability in mind, and never using floral foam.

If you’re planning a wedding or event and want florals that feel considered, natural and enduring, I’d love to hear your ideas.

What if your venue could feel new every season without a full redesign?

This is something I often talk about with venue owners.
Your space doesn’t need to be constantly reinvented…
but it does need to feel considered, current, and quietly evolving.

For this installation, I carefully took down the winter design and reimagined it for spring —
keeping the structure, but softening the palette, lifting the tones, and bringing in a lighter, more seasonal feel.
The result is a space that feels completely refreshed,
without the cost or disruption of starting again.

It’s a more sustainable approach,
but also a more thoughtful one.
Because your guests may not always be able to put their finger on why a space feels so beautiful…
but they always feel it.

If you’re a venue owner looking to elevate your space throughout the year,
I’d love to explore how we can create something that evolves with you.
