Our recent introductory Bushcraft day at Wildwoodlands. It was a good, enjoyable day full learning new skills from our demonstrations and then practical sessions. The participants had the opportunity to develop skills in safe knife use and maintenance, fire lighting using bow and drill friction also using a flint and steel and fire strikes with and number of main made and natural tinder's. During the day, they also attended workshops in the natural cordage process and finished the day foraging and tree and plant identification.

Excellent recent family bushcraft day. Activities included fire lighting, tarp and hammock demonstrations, knife skills, cordage making and fish preparation and cooking. Really enjoyable day.

Particpants during our recent bushcraft Introductory course enjoyed the day they experienced any typical topics, such natural cordage, knife safety and cutting techniques, shelters, water filtration, and we finished the day doing some foraging and plant identification.

During our recent Wildwoodlands foraging and bushcrafts skillls course we spent the morning doing tree and plant identification and collecting resources for our craft afternoon. We processed willow to make cordage, willow, dog wood, and honey suckle, which was sourced and proceesed to make a woodland basket.

Hi All, its good to be back at Wildwoodlands. Lots of preparation to be done for a calendar full of courses for 2024.

We have many courses to choose from this year, Bushcraft weekends for individuals, family's or small groups. And some fantastic Bushcraft days, from learning to light fires using friction, sourcing natural materials for cordage or crafts to foraging plants for food or medicines.

We still have places available on all courses.

Fantastic weekend bushcraft at Wildwoodlands with these guys. They gained lots of new skills, including game preparation, friction firelighting, and foraging.
