When the pen had been stowed away after a day’s writing, some of our most well-known and well-loved authors took to the cricket fields in their down time!

We’re delighted to be involved in the The Reading Agency Summer Reading Challenge 2026! Working in tandem with the wonderful Corsham Library, you can now come into the bookshop to receive your stickers for the progress you make, as well as start the challenge itself!

Submissions are invited for the Bath Children's Novel Award 2026.
From humour to horror, they’re on the lookout for standout YA, children’s novels, chapter books, early readers and picture book texts.
