Perfection as always from Chelsea! So many wonderful gardens & to go “behind the rope” on the Killik “seed in time garden” was a privilege - full of thoughtful and inspiring details, and a worthy gold medal winner 🏆 Head is buzzing & of course, I may have to now find room for just a couple more roses ;) 🌹

Not your typical Autumn shades but happily the barista dahlias have kept going long enough for the chrysanthemums to catch up. A second flush from some of the lemon bergamot and the last of the phlox which has flowered its socks off all Summer, plus a final hurrah from my favourite dahlia this summer, Sarah Raven’s “perch hill” - an absolutely stunning deep rosy pink 😍

Has anyone else noticed their garden has fallen silent recently? Not a single bee to be seen anywhere this morning… I have a lawn full of clover, a wall of jasmine and as you would expect … a lot of flowers throughout the garden (!) but there’s nothing :( Last night there was one bee on the phaecilia but that was it
