We've made it to Wednesday, the kids are in bed and I've had a quick look through my stock and I'm raring to go!

It feels like I've been in a soggy rainy state since my marathon 2 weeks ago! Where has the sun gone?!
O was delighted to receive confirmation from Macmillan that the Rob Roy Mighty Hike 2 weeks ago has smashed the £1million mark 👏 😱

Anyway, back to Usborne.....I've been sorting through my stock and have gathered a wee pile for a stock sale this week. Nothing wrong with the books, they've just have been in my stock for a wee while and ready to land on a bookshelf near you 😉 😜

These titles will be heavily discounted......in fact at less than cost price, so definite bargains to be had!

I'll share details on Wednesday evening.....let's say from 7.30pm to give me a chance to get the kids off to bed.

💚 Macmillan Mighty Hike Marathon 💚

Wow! What an amazing experience from start to finish. Even the last 6 miles in torrential rain was amazing!

Thank you everyone who sponsored me and I'm absolutely blown away by everyone's generosity.

My grand total stands at £755 + gift aid.

Here are a few pics taken along the 26 mile route.

My official time from start to finish is 9hrs 45 mins (including about 1 hour of breaks at the 3 checkpoints along the route). So actual moving time 8hrs 45 mins 💪

And the best part.....NO BLISTERS!!

Hello!

This year I have challenged myself to the Macmillan Mighty Hike Marathon on the 30th August. The Rob Roy Mighty Hike route starts/finishes in Callander, with a mix of terrain, including lochsides, woodland and trails.

Over the years I have supported Macmillan Cancer Support with cake sales at work and coffee mornings. However, this year I'm giving the recipe books a rest and getting my walking shoes on!

My training is going well, with my weekly training hikes currently at 12 - 15 miles. Now I just need to double the miles!

Elfie and me.....an update

Well, a week has almost past since Jock the Elf appeared, and what a week its been!

Melted snowmen, googly eyed photos, toilet paper snowmen....its been a creatve week.

BUT THEN...he ate all my chocolates (😉) 😳

However, the wee dude then redeemed himself the following night with giving me a new box!

He's off to a weekend long Elf party in the North Pole tonighg, so a couple of nights off for me!
