Maria’s Bakery.

Serving Coventry since 1977.

For nearly fifty years this Coventry institution has been turning out great-quality bread, cakes, and savoury treats — batch after batch, day after day.

The glass displays are loaded with the day’s work: glossy cinnamon swirls and almond croissants, lemon-and-blueberry crumbles, raspberry crumbed muffins, chocolate marble cake, custard slices, fresh-cream éclairs and turnovers.

On the savoury side you’ll find generous paninis, filled baguettes, golden samosas, onion bhajis and traditional pasties—everything made fresh.

Locals know they can rely on the bakery for proper coffee to go with their morning pastry or an afternoon treat, and the service that has kept the same families coming back for decades.
