Good morning good folks. I've made some progress with Lion-O and Skeletor. I've been trying to make Skeletor's cloak look aged and worn, I think I'm slowly getting there.

Testing of the Warhammer Tone Pro continues, I tried following one of the tutorials for 'one coat' application, perhaps I'm using it wrong because it didn't work out for me. I'm hoping to test them with the airbrush and various thinners today so I'll have a fuller idea of how they behave.

Afternoon all, Testing Things Thursday today.
I'm hoping to be able to try out the new Airhub Pro from Gaahleri. They're £60 and they split the feed from your air supply into four separately regulated feeds so you can run multiple airbrushes at once.

I visited the Warhammer store in town and picked up some of the new Warhammer Tone Pro paints so I will be testing those as well. Will they go through the airbrush? What thinner will work or make them split or curdle? I hope to find out today and post the results tomorrow but as always, feel free to pop by the shop to have a play on the testing tables.

Today's task? Thundercats, Ho! I primed Lion-O yesterday so today I need to be brave and tackle the skin colour. I also need to finish building and priming the Blood Bowl team. Now I just need to find a third party company that make Thundercat Blood Bowl teams.

Morning all. Grim and grey outside so I'm going to try and brighten my day with paint. I've got to finish prepping the Blood Bowl team and other big figure ready for primer but fortunately I managed to get outside yesterday and spray prime Skeletor. Today I will be choosing colours and hopefully getting a start on his base coat. Hope to see you all soon.

Okie dokie, I'm in store and open now. Refilled the markers and Milliput and have put the Halloween sweets out. The challenge now? Can I use a spray primer on Skeletor before the rains begin? Fingers crossed...

Afternoon folks. It's arrived! Can you guess what it is? Of course you can, (I am tragically predictable) so I put a picture of the dry fit of the kit up as well. This afternoon I will be prepping and priming, hopefully start on the colour next week. Yes, this does mean the Blood Bowl team have found themselves moved down the priority list unfortunately but hey, at least they made it out of the stash pile. 😆

Hello all. Mini progress update on Doctor Who. I just need to add some highlights to the skin tone and the sleeves and sonic screwdriver, then it should all be ready to glue together.
Yes, I am afraid of trying to paint the eyes and yes, he will probably look more like Worzel Gummidge than Doctor Who when I'm finished. 😄
Next week I hope to start Skeletor and Lion-O...
