Tomorrow Saturday 5th September is the annual Earlsdon
Produce and flower show held at St Barbara's church doors open 2.15pm come and have a look at the competition entrants tea coffee and cakes available and at 4.15 pm we have the produce auction bargain bags of veg bunches of flowers home made cake all must be sold. It's a lovely afternoon out and the weather is set to be lovely also a raffle and prize giving
No charge to get in

To our amazing community.

We just want to say one final big thank you to all those within the community who came along, sold on the day, came and spoke to us, gave words of encouragement and made us smile 😊

We know we put up a few negative posts towards the end but we don’t want to let the rude, disrespectful and unwelcomed few, cast a black cloud over what was overwhelmingly an amazing 6 weeks!

We never dreamt it would be so busy when my husband and I first had the idea (well when I strong armed him into it 😂) but it’s become apparent that it’s something Earlsdon didn’t know it needed and we are so glad we could provide something fun to do on a Saturday morning that was free to come along to and visit.

Thank you again to all those that have reached out, especially over the last week to let us know how much you enjoyed it. It’s really finished it off on a high and we are so grateful ❤️

The Carboot will be back in 2027 👋🏻

Until then, remember: kindness costs nothing (you know who you are), and pick up your litter 😂

With the cancellation this weekend, the Earlsdon Carboot is now done for 2026 ☀️

We want to thank everyone who came along, supported us, gave us positive feedback and made us smile. 🥰❤️🥰

We want to say a huge thank you to some amazing people who stood by us week after week.
Firstly the amazing Clare who always gives so much love and positivity to all she does. She’s definitely been the calming and reasoning when Zara has been stressed. We love you 🥰

To the wonderful Charlotte, who came in last minute and now we couldn’t manage without her. Another strong and calm force, who worked so hard all summer and we’ve just loved having you with us.

A big thank you to Jacob, Jack and Joseph, my lovely nephews who I wrangled into the job, and of course Harry who came in when we needed him.

To Burnsall Bites and Stu’s ices who have been with us for the last 3 years. Who believed in the event when we first started with just 30 cars and a dream of a full event. 2 local, wonderful businesses who work so hard.

A shout out to the Walsgrave Carboot sellers who have been the life and soul of the event and always such a positive energy and team throughout.

Due to the level of antisocial behaviour last week by visiting market stalls we have decided to make our last one “Market Stall Free”

We apologise for the behaviour and issues raised and want to let you know we take it seriously.

All market stalls will be turned away at the gate and referred to other Carboots.

Please pass on the message and we hope this message is understood as a way to keep the Carboot safe and tidy.

Our final date is this Saturday 29th Aug and We are getting a lot of questions about continuing.

Unfortunately the land isn’t ours. We rent from the council and the fair has booked up for September

October would be too much of a risk with the weather. We have had a great time and hope this helps clear up a few things

We hope to see you all this Saturday and then The Earlsdon Carboot will return when the sunshine does ☀️

Bag of shopping handed in at the end 🛍️
This looks like someone’s purchases from the day rather than left over items.
There was a pair of wellies in there. If you think it’s yours - Just let us know what else was in the bag. Happy to take to the event next week or for you to collect prior
