Although this bureau is reminiscent of Trigger’s broom - with its fair share of period repairs - I was excited to find these handmade, mid to late Georgian rose-cut nails holding in place the remaining original lock. And just look at that quarter sawn oak 🌳😍

I haven’t yet taken pictures of the fitted interior, secret compartment 🤫 or turned bone drawer k***s - watch out for more tomorrow!

Super chuffed to have found not one, but two!! Louis Hudson studio pottery vases today. The chimney vase is unmarked but unmistakable in style 🤩 I suppose I have a soft spot for these…being Cornish and all! And yes, Troika is cool, but there are plenty of other amazing Cornish potters deserving of just as much attention!

* Wedgwood Jasperware ‘Muses’ Teapot. Hands down this is the most gorgeous piece of Wedgwood I’ve found to date. It’s lived a life - that’s for sure! The break to the lid was once stapled together, in latter years it’s been glued. There’s some bumps and bruises to the pot (but no chips or cracks!) Antique certainly, Edwardian? Possibly older IMO. £45.

* 🍍Portieux Vallerysthal French antique turquoise opaline glass pineapple candy dish. I squealed when I found this - I think it’s so cool! Lots of fun to add to your space ; home bar, mantelpiece, windowsill.. A truly fabulous item! 🍍 £58

* Beswick vase - Deco 30s/40s Ciro dimpled vase. Ruskin in style with that wonderful ombré drippy glaze. Hairline crack and small chip from rim but stuff it with flowers and no one will know 👌😅 £24

* Vintage Japanese Enesco style cobalt bud vase with enamelled flowers, gold accents. Simple, lovely, excellent condition. A bargain at £12!

🐾 Arthur Wardle print, ‘H.S. One’ dated 1918.

Aside from, and please excuse, my awful lighting and poor photography, it has the most gorgeous, subtle colourway that just captures the essence of the scene perfectly. It’s like I can smell the coming rain, languishing in the heavy clouds, and feel the biting wind on my cheeks as it rolls off the surrounding hills. Gorgeous. Chef’s kiss 🤌💋
