Another one completed for a returning customer over in Mountfield, near Robertsbridge. 🙌

Cormar Zenith in Highcliffe, supplied and fitted through the lounge, two bedrooms and halls, all fitted over Wilsons Plushwalk underlay with new fixings throughout.

Zenith is one of Cormar’s heavyweight twist carpets, made from their 100% Ultralux polypropylene yarn. It has a lovely soft, refined finish but is also designed for serious everyday use — stain resistant, bleach cleanable and rated for extra-heavy domestic use, with a 10-year stain & wear warranty. A really good option if you want something that feels luxurious without being too precious for a busy home.

This one gave us a little extra entertainment when we discovered the plumbers and electricians had apparently decided that screwing the floorboards back down was optional… 🤔😂

We battled on, got everything sorted and the customers were delighted with the finished job.

And they haven’t got rid of us yet — we’re due back shortly to fit a basket-weave vinyl in the bathroom.

A lovely natural finish for this staircase in Ticehurst.

We supplied and fitted Kersaint Cobb Tiger’s Eye in Flint, a textured sisal that works brilliantly in character homes. Sisal has a firmer, more structured feel underfoot than a traditional soft carpet, with a distinctive woven texture that brings warmth and interest without overpowering the space.

It is especially well suited to stairs, landings and other busy areas, where its strong natural fibres and smart, tailored appearance really come into their own.

The Tiger’s Eye design has a subtle two-tone pattern that gives the floor extra depth, while the Flint colour sits beautifully alongside the white woodwork, black bannisters and natural oak flooring.

A very neat finish from the team — particularly around that shaped bottom step and landing. 👌

A beautiful finish in a home full of character.

Kellars Florentina in Greige, supplied and fitted for some lovely returning customers in Goudhurst yesterday.

This soft, neutral shade works brilliantly alongside the exposed beams, brick fireplace and colourful furniture. Florentina has a deep, luxurious feel underfoot while also being a practical, stain-resistant choice for a busy living space.

The large lounge and staircase certainly kept the team busy—and on another very hot day—but the finished result was worth it!

One of the nicest parts of this job was seeing these customers again. We fitted flooring for them previously, so it was great to be invited back to complete this large bedroom, dressing area, stairs and landing in Tunbridge Wells.

They chose Cormar Primo Plus, one of those ranges that has remained popular for years because it offers a great balance of comfort, durability and value. It’s bleach cleanable, hard wearing and available in a huge range of colours, making it a sensible choice for busy family homes.

The bedroom itself was a real challenge due to its size and shape. It required a number of joins to achieve the best result, but that’s where careful planning and experienced fitting make all the difference. Once the carpet is down, the joins simply disappear into the finished floor.

We always enjoy the jobs that require a bit more thought – and even more so when they’re for customers who come back to us.

A real transformation completed in Rolvenden last week.

For the hall and lounge, our customer chose Amtico Spacia Mulled Oak, creating a warm, natural wood effect with all the practical benefits of luxury vinyl tile. We also fitted Karndean Knight Tile Black Riven Slate in both bathrooms, giving a modern stone look that’s hard-wearing and easy to maintain.

We supplied and fitted this lovely Melbourne twist carpet in the colour Quill throughout the lounge, hall and three bedrooms.

Melbourne is a soft, bleach-cleanable man-made twist, making it an excellent choice for busy family homes. It’s comfortable underfoot, hard-wearing, easy to maintain and offers great value without compromising on appearance.

A fresh new carpet can completely transform a home, and we think this one looks fantastic.
