Fresh and dried bunches plus lots of other stalls selling pies, cakes, meat, plants, honey and veg.

💕 Valentine's Flowers 💕

BRITISH grown tulip bouquets are now available for pre-order.

It's still too early in the season for my own flowers so I've decided to order in some beautiful double tulips to brighten up this Valentine's - sourced from a wonderful British family business.

Bouquets will be hand-tied with tissue and brown paper with no plastic in sight.  A little gift note will also be included.

Tulip bouquets are £30 and larger bunches can be made upon request.

Collection from Purlogue, Nr Clun from Friday 13th February.  Local delivery may be possible by prior arrangement.

A dried echinops buttonhole with matching mini children's versions.

Dried buttonholes are a great option, especially if you need them to last for a wedding that's further afield.

The summer holidays are in full swing and posting on social media seems to have gone to the bottom of the pile. I must try harder to post regularly on here!

Our youngest is always keen to help in the garden and we harvested the first of the ammobium or 'winged everlasting' yesterday which I grow primarily to dry.

Ammobium makes a useful small dried flower as it retains its white colour and if picked soon enough will also keep its yellow centre. I use lots of it in wreaths and buttonholes so it's good to make a start on drying this years crop.
