A MESSAGE FROM THE STAFF:

As we're sure most of you have heard on the grape vine by now, The Tackle Warehouse Ltd has ceased trading with immediate effect.

All of the staff have only found out this morning by text message, along with everyone else, so as you can imagine, we're pretty gutted at being made redundant with no notice!!

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers for their support and custom over the years. You've certainly made our days at work more enjoyable.

Hopefully we may bump into some of you on the bank, but if we don't, its been a pleasure!!

Hello everyone, sadly I have come to the decision to Permanently shut the shop, this decision has not been easy after having the shop open for 18 years I have met so many loving kind people throughout these years and hopefully to still stay in contact. After thinking about moving to the new shop I realised it wasn’t right and I couldn’t do it. After loosing a really important family member last year it has been tough. My health has to come first in this situation and it wouldn’t be right to carry on with all the stress running the business especially with all of the increases in rates and rent. Hopefully I will now have time to go fishing and enjoy it. I hope everyone understands that this wasn’t an easy decision to make.

Morning all, we just wanted to update everyone on what's happening in the shop:

First of all, apologises for the shop being moved around and the stands being dismantled, but we are getting ready to move to a new shop!!

We will still be in Gatwick International Distribution Centre on Cobham Way, but we are moving to Unit 9 (opposite Screwfix). If all goes to plan we are hoping to be moved and open by mid-November, but we will confirm an definite date as soon as we know.

In the current shop, we've got a big wall with sale items on it- it is all 35% marked price
