The pavements surrounding our showroom in Woodingdean were resurfaced yesterday- what a difference it has made! ✨ The fresh, smooth new surface looks great and makes accessing the showroom more comfortable for our customers.

☀️With temperatures soaring this week, it's important to look after yourself- and to check in on those around you, especially older relatives, neighbours, or anyone who might be more vulnerable in the heat.

One of the simplest things you can do at home is keep your windows shut during the day with curtains and blinds closed. It feels counterintuitive, but it stops the sun heating your rooms like a greenhouse. Once the evening air begins to cool, open everything up and let the breeze through.

When it comes to cooling yourself down, evaporative cooling is one of the most effective tricks going- your body already does it naturally through sweat. We put together some tried and tested tips for utilising evaporative cooling during this current heatwave.

Stay hydrated, try to stay out of the sun during the hottest part of the day, and look out for each other. 💙

Since 1996, the showroom on Kingston Road has been helping thousands of local people live independently, under different names but always with the same commitment to expert advice and genuine care.

Now its part of the Clearwell Mobility family, the tradition continues, and we couldn't be prouder to keep it going. 💛

A huge thank you to every customer and every family member who has trusted this showroom over the years. You're the reason we do what we do.

And a special mention for Josie, who has been supporting customers here since 2003. Over two decades of dedication, knowledge and care. A local legend.
