Two glamping pods on Baleshare island, reached by causeway and a short walk from the beach. Heisgeir and Hiort each sleep 2-4, with kitchenette, outdoor dining and firepit. Dogs welcome in Hiort. The machair here is special in spring and summer. Ever stayed in a pod before?

There's a roadside honesty box on Baleshare where someone leaves out home baking and trusts you to drop coins in the tin. No shop hours, no guarantees what's been made that day, just traybakes and cakes when they're there. The sort of thing that works here. Do you keep change in the car for moments like this?
