Although it's not what many people will get to see it's still worth taking note of how awesome my husband is for starting to lay the new floor!

The back room is where I'll be packaging and experimenting with new products in the future and this is just one of the many changes happening.

All set up at Ness Gala Day! I've sweets for everyone and you'll find me in the inflatable tent at the back of the field near the music!

There's gummy, fizzy, giant laces, rock lollies and a whole lot more. Pop in for a chat, come and see what stock I've got and if I can tempt you with my sweet treats!

Lovely to be back again this year, shame the sun isn't shining like last year!

Stock has started to arrive but we want to know what you feel this shop needs!

I'd love for it to be something for locals as well as tourists so what is this island missing, what is hard to get a hold of and what would you want to see in stock?

Comment below or message me what you feel would make an excellent addition and yes the rumours are true, I will be serving coffee and cakes for takeaway. At least until I can build an outside seating area 😉

The worst kept secret in Uist can finally be announced 😂

I've bought Puffin Studio Crafts!

This isn't something I ever thought would happen when I opened Sweet Boutique. From placing my first pick and mix order, having to work out of a tiny wardrobe and only being able to take a few orders at a time, I never in my wildest dreams expected to be able to buy a building to turn into a sweet shop!

Don't worry, I'm keeping the gifts shop side and I plan on having the same amazing crafters and hopefully some new ones too! If you would like to become a supplier please get in touch with what you make and contact details 😘

We will need a few months to organise ourselves and get the inside decorated and stocked up but we aim to be open at the end of October.

Thank you so much to all you amazing people for the continued support of my small business, I couldn't have done it without you all!

To the people of Barra we have finally made it across the waters from South Uist to bring Sweet Boutique to you all! It's only taking 5 years 😂

We're all set up and ready to rock and who could imagine there would be so much sunshine today!

I'm bringing the entire sweet shop with me as well. I've something for everyone from retro favourites, giant laces, pick and mix pouches and so much more! 🍬🍬🍬🍬🍬🍬

This will be the first time I'll be over with the sweet shop and I cannot wait to be part of it! 🍭🍭🍭🍭🍭
