🍭 A Bittersweet Goodbye from Unique Sweets & Treats 💔

Almost five years ago, in the midst of one of the most challenging times—a global pandemic—we opened the doors to Unique Sweets & Treats. Against the odds, we adapted, we grew, and we built something truly special, both in-store and online.

It’s been an incredible journey, filled with laughter, community, and of course, plenty of sweet treats! But now, due to the pressures of time, spiralling costs, and life’s ever-changing challenges, the time has come to say goodbye to our wonderfully, quirky little High Street Store and to focus on pastures new.

Unique Sweets & Treats will be closing its High Street store for the final time following our Spin to Win Day on Friday, 14th March 2025. However, this isn’t the end of our sweet journey! We’re excited to continue bringing you delicious treats through our new online store, which will be announced soon and our super popular market stall, The Candy Factory.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you - our amazing customers, our dedicated team, and our wonderful community! Your support, kindness, and love for what we do have meant the world to us.

Though this chapter is closing, the memories will always remain, and we hope we’ve brought a little extra sweetness into your lives. Thank you for being part of our story.❤️

Some devastating news coming from our very own and much loved, Rob Pudner… Our deepest condolences to Rob and his precious family at this most difficult of times. I know that all our thoughts will be with him and his family as they navigate their way through this most difficult of times…

Since our Entertainingly Different post at the end of last October many of you have enquired as to how Rob Pudner's eldest son is; and it is now with an extremely heavy heart and deepest regret that we have to report that his brave little warrior has lost his battle just over sixteen weeks after being admitted to Great Ormond Street Hospital and Charity where he made such an impression and touched the hearts of many.
He spent his last day surrounded by his proud family and enveloped in love and passed away with absolute dignity.
One of Tobias' favourite films was The Greatest Showman and T actually said his Daddy was 'The Greatest Showman' - we couldn't possibly comment either way but we can certainly say that Rob will continue his workshops and performances in the memory of his gorgeous, courageous and inspirational boy - forever eleven. 💙

It may be Friday the Thirteenth but it's also Roald Dahl Day 2024 and in celebration Entertainingly Different's very own Candyman Rob Pudner has stepped out of Unique Sweets & Treats in Crediton onto the September sun drenched street to share some scrumdiddlyumptious goodies with the passersby.

Unfortunately, owing to a rather nasty sickness bug that appears to be running through our home, Unique Sweets & Treats will be closed all day tomorrow, Thursday 20th June but all being well will still open up again on Friday, 21st June with the Entertainingly Different, Rob Pudner at the helm.

Our sincerest apologies but in our business, you can't be too careful.
