Hi everyone. Since leaving my little shop in Crediton High Street I have been asked many times if I have an online page where people can choose and buy Paperback and Hardback Novels. The answer is yes. I have always had this available but have not really promoted it for some years now. Look out for;
Jimmys Books and Once Loved Items on Facebook. I will try to update once a month with other Titles and deals.

Just a reminder. As per usual at Christmas for those who may be struggling a little with buying gifts. I have put a box of FREE GIFTS in a box at the side of the shop in the Alley way. We all know how times can be hard this time of year. I hope this helps someone in some way.

Firstly I would like to thank everyone for their well wishes.
I want to apologise to our community for the lack of support I normally try to give to different areas through your support but, my health has recently been responsible for that. Pleased to say I am hoping to re-open Tomorrow Thursday 4th December to try slowly to regain some kind of Christmas spirit.

After trying for some time now, with no success, I am hoping that one of my friends or well known customers can help me. I have a very close friend (who I am sure many have you have met at the shop) who is in desperate need of help. Through no fault of his own, he has recently received a repossession for a flat he has been renting for several years.
He is the most trustworthy person I know. He generally has no support which is why I want to help him find somewhere to live.
If anyone I know can help with a one bedroom (long term) accommodation in Crediton, it would be greatly appreciated. He is known by many.
He is now retired on a state pension. He pays his own Council tax and roughly one third of his rent. The rest being on Housing Benefit. His current rent is around £650 a month but may be able to manage a little more.
Please message if you think you can help me help him. I will be in the shop Thursday, Friday and Saturdays

It was a pleasure this evening to welcome several children from Pippins Landscore Kidz star club at the shop. The children all appeared to enjoy their time looking through many books and excited to take away 2 or 3 Free books away each. It was also a pleasure to send them away with a cheque for £100 towards New books for their Library. This ofcourse could not be achieved without support from our community. Thankyou!
