Puffinpatchworks I design and sell patchwork quilts and cushions. I specialise in using tweed, tartan and denim and applique designs.

I've been making quilts for 30 years and love using whatever fabric is to hand. If you like what you see comment or get in touch. Designer, maker and seller of bespoke patchwork quilts and cushions using tartan, tweed and denim. The ethos of the business is to recycle fabric down to making small pin cushions from scraps of scraps. Based in Galloway in South West Scotland my design inspiration comes from the landscape and the abundant wildlife that lives here.

This will be the last Fabric Destash day this Sunday 25 August from 11-3 pm at Foggie Toddle Books
I've a little more fabric to bring 😉 and there will be quilting and patchwork books for sale too.
I'm currently working on some log cabin blocks and will take these along too as an idea for using scraps of fabric.
Alongside all the lovely children's books, cards and gifts why not come along to Wigtown this Sunday and say hello!...

I will be at Foggie Toddle Books tomorrow Sunday 18 August from 11- 3pm for a penultimate Fabric Destash Day.
It will be the usual fill a bag for £1 and I have some larger pieces at £1 a bundle.
There are lots of lovely new and second hand children's and young adult books to browse and buy, plus gifts, cards and squishy bananas!!

I've run Puffinpatchworks as a small business designing and making quilts, cushions and textile art from recycled fabric and scraps for 14 years. Over that time I've acquired a lot of fabric in my stash.
Now you can add to yours!
I shall be at Foggie Toddle Books this Sunday 28 July from 11-3pm with a table full of lovely bundles of fabric.

Day 4 of the Wigtown Book Festival
Yesterday was full of surprises!
Chatting about all things creative of course, but also how to heal broken bones, camper vans called Hamish, a surprise treat to attend an event and what was suitable rainwear for the deluge outside - a swim coat came out top!
But best of all was seeing a friend from University I hadn't seen for 40 years - Jane it was lovely to catch up 😊
I wonder what today will bring...
