Happy International guide dog day 😀.
(A long post but bare with me!)

How absolutely blinking adorable are these guys?. I grew up around dogs, my first love was a "heinz 57" gorgeous boy called Herbie, that I proudly chose from Wood Green animal shelter in London when I was 18 months old. He went on to fill many happy childhood memory and lived to the grand old age of 17!!.

Then there was Fritz my Grandma's German pointer who I loved dearly, despite his rather smelly bottom, that was until one sunny day out blackberry picking when I felt a warmth on my leg!! Yes Fritz had mistaken my leg for a tree and tinkled down it. No great drama, off back to the house to wash my leg, sock and empty out my shoe 😬. It wasn't until I was clean and dry and enjoying a glass of squash that I made the horrible, devastating discovery that my cherished Mickey Mouse watch was missing from my wrist 😮!! Dum dum dummmmm (I wish I had sound effects😁).
Despite a hurried trip back to the scene of the crime and a lot of tears, mainly my Dad😉, we scrambled and searched amongst the thorny bushes and grassy verge, well my Dad did, alas my watch was forever lost in a blackberry Bush in East Sussex🥺

Even my very first job at the tender age of 12 and 3/4 involved fur, paws and a lot of 💩, I was a kennelmaid looking after award winning German shepards and their cuddly puppies. Loved this job so much, plus obviously thought I'd made it to the big times earning a whole £1 an hour 😀.

Anyway I kind of digressed 😆, man's best friend, what ever shape, size, make or model 😉 are loveable, kind, and amazing, especially those extra special ones chosen to be service dogs, like guide dogs we are lucky to have ❤️.

Now I know it's not guide dogs, but I like so many of you love all kinds of animals. So we at Chocolate hq are thrilled to be supporting"Spring into Action for Wildlife" fair that is taking place this Sunday at the RSPCA Stapeley Grange 10am -2pm. Family fun with face painting, food stalls, craft stalls and outdoor games 😃.
Choc'o'slabs will have our own stall there bringing you more chocolaty yumminess 🍫😋. We hope you will pop down , support this event, and help us sell enough chocolate to give a fantastic donation to this deserving charity ❤️.

Happy Sunday chocolate lovers🍫❤️.
We're here in Crewe Market Hall for today's market. Worked hard all week to produce lots of our yummy Belgian chocolate including some new products.
So don't let the drizzle put you off, we would love to see you. There are lots of fantastic stalls here, I might end up with a few extra bags at the end of the day 🤣.
We are taking orders for our personalised slabs now, so pop down or message us for details

I've got a confession chocolate lovers, I'm a lot of a nerd 🤓. I love Sc-Fi, Marvel, all kinds of books especially history, researching unusual things, my favourite thing to do is words games. In fact I play Boggle and Scrabble daily on my Ipad. I love them so much that no-one at home will play with me anymore 😭 but that's because I thrash them😂.

So be warned I have compiled a long list of facts for each day of the year. From World Health day on 7th March, St Patrick's day on 17th March and Halloween on 31st October, to National Lipstick 💄 day on 29th July or International Carrot 🥕 day on 4th April there are some amazing, weird and wonderful days to come. Don't panic, I'll keep you up to date 😂.

So today is National Scrabble day ( you get it now😉) Plant appreciation day, so 🎉with your houseplants later 😀.
