I had the absolute pleasure of working on these custom oak boards over the last couple of weeks.

The larger board was supplied by the customer for me to clean up, finish and engrave, while the smaller matching board was completely handmade by me before routing the handles, shaping the edges and engraving both pieces.

These beautiful boards were made as a surprise gift, which made this project even more special

I’m genuinely overwhelmed with how beautifully these turned out. The grain, the engraving and having the two matching together just worked perfectly.

Honestly, projects like this are something I’ve wanted to do for a long time… and seeing these finally finished feels so rewarding.

It's definitely one of those projects that reminds me why I love creating personalised pieces.

I designed these matching placemats and coasters and engraved them on glass. Each one tells a different story — from engines to aircraft to racing history — but they all just work together.

There’s just something about engineering drawings that hits different

From early engines to iconic machines — these designs aren’t just images, they’re a glimpse into how things were built, solved, and perfected.
Seeing them engraved into glass just brings that blueprint feel to life in a completely different way.

I very rarely make something for myself, and these have been months in the making. They all mean something to our family and each one has an Easter egg for that added bit of fun.
