🖤 In loving memory of Kat 🖤

This year, Tom's Tap and Brewhouse Ltd and the Ladies of Darkness have brewed something special: Kit Kat Stout, created in memory of Kat, a much-loved member of our South Cheshire CAMRA committee, who sadly passed away from breast cancer earlier this year.

Kat had always wanted to brew with the Ladies of Darkness, having previously brewed with Sean from Tom's Tap — but cancer doesn't care what plans you've got. So this festival, they've brewed Kit Kat Stout in her honour, so she can be part of it after all.

Kat was part of the heart of this branch, and this b**r is a small but heartfelt way to remember her at the festival she helped make happen.

We'll be raising a glass to Kat this weekend — please join us at the cask bar to try Kit Kat Stout (tap 38) and remember her with us. And if you're able to, please consider a donation to St Luke's Hospice, our festival charity this year, who cared for Kat so well in her final months.

Finding space to sit people isn't a bad problem to have. Massive thanks to everyone who came by.

Next week's One Piece should have the proper tournament kit as well.

Tomorrow we are celebrating the Pokémon World Championship and the end of the Summer Off Season with our Pokémon Summer Jamboree.

This competitive event will see the winner walking away with a Pokémon Centre Perfect Order ETB, a winner stamped Pikachu promo and a Playmat.

2nd to 4th will also be getting some goodies too.

We've 100 Chaos Rising Fun Packs to giveaway over the course of the day and each entrant gets a Pitch Black booster for attendance.

Plus some random spot prizes to celebrate the world championship event.

The event itself is sold out but we have plenty of stock available and this includes our lucky dip packs in partnership with Pokelegacy.
