🚂 We’re making some much-needed improvements to the Printins Railway Store!

We’re still adding products, updating photographs and making the store clearer and easier to use. While we finish everything off, we thought we’d make early access a little more fun!

The store is currently locked with a password—but we’ve hidden it somewhere in this post. Can you find it? 👀

Things are moving along nicely behind the scenes.
Right now, we’re adding more useful tools for your layouts.
A refreshed and improved shopping experience is on its way.
Can you spot the secret hidden within these lines?
Keep looking carefully and you might unlock the store early!

If you solve it, visit the Printins Railway Store and enter the hidden password to take an early look around.

Please remember that we’re still working on the store, so some products and information may not be available just yet.

Good luck—and please don’t reveal the answer in the comments! 🤫🚂

🚂 STEAM TRAIN RIDDLE! 🚂

Calling all train fans — whether you’re a railway expert or just fancy having a guess! 😄
Can you identify this real steam locomotive?

I came from Britain, yet home was not there, I crossed warm lands through tropical air.

Eight wheels drove me, but I wasn’t alone;
Others like me made distant rails home.

My makers were famous, my gauge was small,
Through forests and mountains I answered the call.

Decades went by, yet I escaped the flame,
And preservation gave me a second name.

🚂 What locomotive am I?

Have a guess in the comments — and no searching for the answer! 👀
Were reveal the answer later. ⏰

We had such a wonderful time at Model Railway Crewe 2026 and thoroughly enjoyed being part of such a fantastic event.

It was a pleasure meeting so many friendly people, chatting about the hobby, and seeing everyone's incredible layouts and models. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello and support us.

We were also delighted to design and produce an exclusive box set, which was donated to Saint Luke's Hospice to be won in the raffle. We hope it helped raise valuable funds for such an amazing charity that provides incredible care and support to so many people.

A huge thank you to the organisers, volunteers, exhibitors, and everyone who attended and made the weekend so special. We can't wait to see you all again next year!
