Hello! Welcome to this Sunday’s mini haul. We had a lovely afternoon out on Friday; a coffee and antique shopping date. This is what came home with us (among other things). We got a bit overexcited and thought this swan doorstop was Victorian but after some research it turns out to be 1960/70’s. That’s still old though right?! And it’s stunning. Really heavy cast iron with a really nice amount of wear. The two cygnets though! So cute. Then the gorgeous watercolour of a sweet doggy. He is going to end up looking just like someone’s beloved puppy-that’s what always happens! Two large studio pottery egg cups in dark green and a Japanese ceramic soy sauce bottle. Another gorgeous selection if we say so ourselves 🤍

What a week! Captured the highs but lots of mundane in between. Funny how we don’t capture that. Two fabulous weekends. Thanks to my son for organising everything even though it was his birthday treat! Feel like such a country bumpkin in London. We ended the day at the private view of Lily Donaldson. Worth checking out if you’re in London. It’s running for two weeks. Instead of fizz it was tequila shots! I like her style! Have a lovely Sunday 🤍

Good morning! For floral Friday this week we are showcasing this gorgeous Denby Troubadour Coffee pot. It features a restrained pattern of magnolia buds and leaves. Only in production for 13 years this coffee pot dates back to the 1970’s. We also have the matching jug in the shop. I feel like quiet restraint is something we need right now.

Hello! Joining in with theme of “in the frame.” Amazing the difference a frame can make to a painting or print. Swipe to see Martin’s clever idea of looking at this painting through different frames. It can really deepen your understanding and appreciation of the artwork. The frame also provides a separation from the artwork and the wall which allows us to focus on the piece. We love this unusual still life painted in oils. The moody colours and tones are so appealing. It’s in our shop (link in bio) and ready to hang on the wall.

Good morning! Only 9 photos today. Can you tell I’m back at work?! We lost our house guest after 5 weeks. We miss him but we’re happy he has a new home and lives near us! The first one to join us in Somerset. Surprised Trudy Herefordshire Antiques & Vintage and saw our youngest on the same day. Martin made scones and I bought the clotted cream. Nice way to end the week. Have a lovely weekend 🤍🤍

Hello! Thanks for coming to check out our new stock. Delighted with these three. They ended up coordinating quite nicely. The antique swan platter is circa 1882-1886 and in fab condition. The Sylvac bunny in green is so cute and this pink Falcon Ware preserve jar is healing my heart from the pink Falcon Ware jug that got broken.
