Hi everyone, i'm posting a fundraising link for Karl, one of the men behind Crick Car Boot, who is taking on a 50km ultra marathon THIS SATURDAY (6th June) to raise money for Our Jay’s Foundation 🩵 — helping fund life-saving defibrillators in our local community.

I know this isn’t directly car boot related, but if you know Karl, you’ll know how much determination, hard work and effort he puts into absolutely everything he does. Anyone who knows him will know he gives 100% to anything he sets his mind to.

This ultra marathon is not just a physical challenge, but a reflection of how far he’s come. Fitness has given him focus, purpose and a positive path forward, and every mile he runs represents resilience, discipline and growth. We honestly couldn’t be prouder of him 💪🏼

Any sponsors or donations, no matter how small, would be hugely appreciated for such an amazing local charity ❤️

🚨Thank you, but a small reminder🚨

Today was officially the busiest day for booters we’ve had in 25 years at Crick Car Boot — which is incredible, and we honestly can’t thank everyone enough for the support ❤️

However, with the huge turnout also came a huge amount of rubbish and unsold items being left around the field and next to bins after closing. Unfortunately, this photo was just one example from today.

A quick reminder to everyone:

🗑️ Please don’t leave rubbish or unwanted items beside bins
🚗 Unsold stock must be taken home with you
♻️ Dispose of waste responsibly either in the field or when you leave

Our team work incredibly hard every week to keep the field clean, safe and ready for the next car boot, especially after days as busy as today.

Let’s keep Crick tidy and make sure the only thing left behind is the bargains 👀

⚠️ CAR PARK UPDATE ⚠️

Our main car park is now getting VERY full due to how busy today has been ☀️

If you are still planning to visit, please consider finding alternative parking nearby and walking into the carboot where possible.

🚶‍♂️ Please note: entry fees still apply even if you are not parking in our main car park.

We also kindly ask everyone to park responsibly:
❌ Do not block driveways
❌ Do not park on corners or unsafe areas
✅ Please park considerately and safely at all times

We want to keep the area safe for residents, visitors and emergency access while everyone enjoys the day.
